A ministry to Catholic women
Magnificat is an International Ministry to Catholic Women based on The Visitation, Luke 1:39. It rose out of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and began in 1981 in New Orleans. Its mission is to “evangelize and encourage Catholic women to grow in holiness through opening more fully to the power and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.”
